National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC)
CLASSIFICATIONS
The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) is a national platform hosted by A*STAR, supported by the National Research Foundation under the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board. NAMIC aims to accelerate hybrid and digital additive manufacturing (AM) technologies under Singapore’s Manufacturing and Economy 2030 Vision, aiding industries in innovation and high-value manufacturing with sustainable, nature-based designs. It focuses on value capture through industry engagement, public-private partnerships and R&D investments, supporting translational research and industry test-bedding for commercial scale-up. NAMIC is expanding its international outreach, supporting deep-tech companies using AM technologies seeking capital through joint funding or investor networks.
